At Scale Model Figures, we use artificial intelligence alongside other digital design and 3D modelling tools to help develop our miniature figures, animals, scenery and accessories.

We believe customers should understand how these tools contribute to the models they buy.

How We Use AI

AI-assisted tools can help us explore ideas, develop visual references and support parts of the design process.

These tools help us work more efficiently, explore a wider variety of subjects and keep development costs manageable. This supports our aim of offering detailed models at accessible prices.

The amount of AI assistance varies between products. AI-assisted does not mean that every part of a model has been created automatically.

From Design to Miniature

Creating an attractive design and producing a physical miniature involve different considerations.

Models need to suit their intended scale, with attention to proportions, visible detail and the strength of delicate parts. Small features may need to be simplified or thickened to make them more practical to print and handle.

Our aim is to create models that work well in miniature scenes, whether they are used for model railways, slot car layouts, military dioramas, wargaming or collecting.

Originality & Respect for Other Creators

We develop our products independently and do not knowingly copy another designer’s sculpt or reproduce their digital model files without permission.

Common subjects, historical clothing, equipment and natural poses can result in similarities between independently created miniatures. However, we take concerns about originality seriously.

We do not regard the use of AI as a substitute for respecting other creators’ work.

Historical Detail & Artistic Interpretation

Our models may combine reference material with artistic interpretation.

AI-assisted tools can introduce inaccuracies, and some details may also be adapted for the scale, style or practical requirements of a miniature. Unless a listing specifically states otherwise, our models should not be treated as exact historical or technical reproductions.

If a particular uniform, item of equipment or period detail is important to your project, please check the product images and description or contact us before ordering.

Understanding Our Product Images

Product listings may show photographs of physical models, painted examples or digital 3D renders.

• Painted examples illustrate a possible finished appearance.

• Digital renders show the model’s design and detail before or alongside physical production.

• Models are supplied unpainted in grey or terracotta-coloured resin unless the listing states otherwise.

Please refer to each listing for the scale, contents, finish and any assembly requirements.
