WAR BODS | Fantasy Wargaming Miniatures & Character Ranges

Big characters. Small miniatures. Plenty of mischief.

Something a little stranger is joining the War Bods ranks. Our upcoming Fantasy range brings together characterful miniatures for tabletop battles, roleplaying adventures, imaginative dioramas and collectors who enjoy figures with a story to tell.

From troublesome Redcaps to determined Militant Monks, expect an expanding world of unusual characters, fantasy fighters and figures with a touch of cheeky British humour.

A Little Fantasy, a Lot of Character

We want our fantasy miniatures to feel at home in the worlds you create. Whether they are defending a ruined monastery, causing trouble on a woodland road or facing an unlikely opponent across the gaming table, each character offers a starting point for your own story.

The range is being developed with expressive faces, distinctive clothing, interesting equipment and poses that are enjoyable to paint and display.

For Gaming, Painting & Collecting

You do not need a whole army to enjoy a good miniature. Our Fantasy range is being created for:

• Fantasy wargaming: build themed groups and introduce new characters to your battles.

• Roleplaying games: bring encounters, adventurers and troublesome opponents to the tabletop.

• Miniature painting: explore bold colours, weathered clothing and individual character details.

• Dioramas and scenery: tell a story in a woodland clearing, village street or ruined stronghold.

• Collectors: choose the figures that catch your imagination and build your own unusual gathering.

Suitability for a particular game will depend on its rules, scale and basing requirements. Check individual listings before choosing models for an existing collection.

Meet the Upcoming Ranges

Redcaps

Small in stature and thoroughly unpleasant in temperament, our Redcaps bring a mischievous menace to the miniature world. They offer plenty of scope for sinister woodland encounters, unruly warbands and characterful painting projects.

Militant Monks

Faith, determination and a distinctly forceful approach to settling disagreements. Our Militant Monks bring an unusual flavour to fantasy scenes, whether you imagine them guarding sacred ground, marching on a quest or defending their last barrel of supplies.

Further characters and additions will be revealed as the range develops.

Choose Your Scale

Please check each product listing for its available scale and dimensions.

Fantasy miniatures may use exaggerated proportions to give faces, hands, weapons and equipment more presence on the tabletop. This means they may look different beside realistically proportioned figures, even when described with a similar height.

If you are matching an existing collection, compare the stated measurements and consider the model’s build as well as its height.

Ready for Your Painting Ideas

Our physical fantasy models will be supplied unpainted in grey or terracotta-coloured resin, unless otherwise stated.

Product images may include digital 3D renders or painted examples to show the design and suggest possible finishes. Your own colour scheme is entirely up to you—from dark and weathered to bright, colourful and slightly ridiculous.

Some printing supports or support marks may remain, and light preparation may be needed before priming. Certain models may require assembly. Bases and accessories are included only where specified in the listing.

Building an Affordable Fantasy Hobby

War Bods is part of Scale Model Figures, a small, family-involved business established in 2016.

Our ambition is to make interesting miniatures that encourage people to paint, play and create without making every project an expensive undertaking. We are developing the Fantasy range with that same approach: character, variety and accessible prices.
